Le groupe se retrouve ainsi derrière la star de la country Garth Brooks (69,52 millions) et les Beatles (65,55 millions). Ce classement se base sur le système Nielsen Soundscan qui comptabilise les ventes avec précision depuis 1991. Hetfield explained: "My body has told me to tell these guys that 50 shows a year is kind of what we can do, so make the best of those. And I think we all kind of agree in that. But 50 shows a year, that's pretty good. My body can handle that. Body, mind and spirit all need to kind of revitalize themselves at home, and days off for voices — things like that — so 50 shows a year, it goes pretty quick, I'm sure." METALLICA : ANNONCE / Metallica annonce une tournée des stades en 2019 Alors que leur tournée mondiale vient tout juste de s'achever avec des chiffres records, Metallica annonce déjà son retour pour l'été 2019. Rendez-vous en Septembre pour une annonce plus précise mais l'on peut sans doute déjà espérer un concert au Stade de France entre mai et août 2019.
